About Us

Established in 2013, WHYOGA embodies a rich history of yoga practice and community engagement that traces back to Beverly's start of her personal yoga journey in 2009. Founded on a deep-rooted passion for yoga, we have cultivated an environment where individuals of all levels can thrive and grow on their yoga journey.

Expert Instruction and Commitment to Excellence

At WHYOGA, we take pride in our team of instructors, two of whom hold prestigious 500-hour teacher certifications. Our commitment to excellence is evident in the dedication of our instructors. With their wealth of knowledge and experience, our instructors provide guidance and support to help students achieve their wellness goals and deepen their yoga practice.

Community-Oriented Initiatives

More than just a yoga studio, WHYOGA is deeply committed to serving and uplifting our community. Through regular coat drives, food drives, and various charitable initiatives, we strive to make a positive impact beyond the studio walls. Tunnel to Towers and World Jewish Congress are two of our monthly recipients, and our local Peoples Place regularly benefits from our winter weather clothing drives, Additionally, our Summer Slaughter Beach events, held on the first Sunday of each month during the summer, provide opportunities for community members to come together and participate in different drives, such as beautifying the beach or supporting local charities.

A Sanctuary for Growth and Connection

Nestled in our small studio, WHYOGA offers a sanctuary for individuals to connect, rejuvenate, and explore the transformative power of yoga. With a focus on fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment, we invite everyone to join us on the mat and experience the profound benefits of yoga for mind, body, and spirit.
